Born From Innovation

Robert E. Rich, Sr. forms Rich Products Corporation after developing Rich’s Whip Topping, dubbed “the miracle cream from a soya bean!” – the first-ever frozen, non-dairy whip topping.

In 1945, Rich Products was born when our founder Robert E. Rich, Sr. created the world’s first non-dairy whipped topping. Over the next 75 years, we’ve paved our way, pioneering many of the food industry’s most game-changing products, setting – and resetting – a new benchmark of success.

It All Started With Sticks

Mozzarella sticks, that is. In 1982, Farm Rich was the 1st appetizer brand available in grocery stores.
Acquires Casa Di Bertacchi Corporation and Byron’s Bar-B-Q adding frozen Italian pasta, meat and barbecue to its portfolio.

Buffalo-Based World Headquarters

Rich’s expands with the grand opening of its Buffalo, NY world headquarters and R&D Center.
2,000 global associates with a growing leadership team (leaders Mindy Rich, Ray Burke and Maureen Hurley join the company).

Batter Up!

Rich’s diversifies its portfolio in an entirely new direction with the purchase of the Buffalo Bisons baseball team.

Tres Leches Meets Tres Riches!

Mexico launches Tres Riches®, an innovative, non-dairy three-milk syrup ready to take desserts to the next level.

Rich’s global footprint rapidly expands with new joint ventures in Mexico, South Africa and India.

Rich’s invests in several production facilities, including Productos Rich, one of Mexico’s first frozen dough manufacturing operations.

Rich’s enters the finished desserts business with the acquisition of Jon Donaire® Desserts.

Entering the 21st Century with 7,000 associates, 2,000 SKUs, annual revenues exceeding $1.3 Billion.

Rich Products Corporation memulai 2011 dengan mengakuisisi Celebration Foods, produsen dan distributor terkemuka dalam bidang pencuci mulut beku dan kue es krim.

Bisnis dari Celebration Foods membawa persetujuan lisensi untuk kue eskrim bermerek Carvel pada beberapa jalur distribusi, bersama dengan asset di bidang manufaktur, operasi perusahaan dan R&D, ditambah dengan sistem distribusi langsung ke toko.

Industri inovasi produk terkemuka terus berlanjut saat Rich’s memperkenalkan dua icing kocok bernama S’mores Bettercreme dan Fudge Swirl Bettercreme. S’mores Bettercreme adalah icing pertama yang menggabungkan warna (motif marmer) dengan partikulat (remahan graham cracker), menghasilkan icing kocok yang enak yang dapat memberikan pengalaman nostalgia memakan s’mores dalam bentuk kue. Fudge Swirl Bettercreme, dengan saus yang dicampur kedalam icing kocok vanilla, menawarkan konsumen campuran sempurna dari coklat dan vanilla.

Rich’s melanjutkan ekspansi global secara agresif pada musim gugur 2011 dengan membuka fasilitas manufaktur yang memproduksi krim tanpa susu beku dan aseptik untuk bakery dan industry makanan. Manufaktur yang terdepan mendukung pertumbuhan strategi Rich’s untuk lebih jauh mengembangkan bisnis di Korea dan di Negara Asia lainnya.

Juga pada tahun 2011, Rich’s masuk dalam jajaran top 100 untuk perusahaan milik keluarga di Amerika Utara oleh majalah CampdenFB. Sementara itu, perusahaan ini mulai merencanakan penataan strategis  untuk lebih efektif memanfaatkan peluang pasar global. Konversi ke satu struktur global menetapkan langkah untuk perusahaan agar dapat meningkatkan infrasutruktur dan tenaga kerja berbakat untuk memfasilitasi pengetahuan dan praktik terbaik diseluruh jejak global yang meluas

Pergeseran struktural utama, dibuat efektif pada tahun 2012, mengubah dua kelompok perusahaan usaha terpisah - Amerika Utara dan Internasional - menjadi satu organisasi, organisasi global Rich’s yang terdiri dari lima operasi geografis: Amerika Serikat / Kanada; Amerika Latin; Asia / Pasifik; Eropa / Timur Tengah; dan Afrika Selatan.

Bob Rich Jr terus memimpin bisnis milik keluarga sebagai Chairman, dengan istrinya, Melinda R. (Mindy) Rich yang menjabat sebagai Vice Chairman dan Bill Gisel menjabat sebagai Presiden dan Chief Executive Officer dan pemimpin tim eksekutif perusahaan dengan Richard Ferranti sebagai Executive Vice President dan Chief Operating Officer, memimpin lima bisnis regional Rich.

Setelah bertahun-tahun kerja dan persiapan,Rich’s mengembangkan bisnisnya ke pasar Asia Barat dengan penambahan Rich’s Turki pada musim semi 2012. Selain menyajikan peluang pertumbuhan yang besar dalam suatu Negara yang terdiri dari 75 juta orang, Turki berfungsi sebagai pintu gerbang ke 130 juta pelanggan potensial di negara-negara terdekat seperti Irak, Iran, Suriah, Bulgaria dan Azerbaijan.

Rich’s menutup tahun 2012 dengan akuisisi dua perusahaan yang mengubah bisnis Amerika Serikat-Kanada. Dengan menambahkan Goglanian Bakeries Inc., makanan f'real LLC, dan perusahaan patungan, Twin Star Bakery, dengan mitra bisnis The Stolbun Group, Rich’s membawa peningkatan portofolio produk yang beragam. Akuisisi perusahaan milik keluarga Goglanian Bakery memberikan hampir tiga kali lipat bisnis pizza Rich saat ini dan menyediakan perusahaan dengan produk yang luar biasa dari roti pizza setengah matang, flatbreads/ roti pipih dan pitas, untuk melengkapi kekuatan yang ada pada adonan pizza beku dalam food service/ industri makanan.

Memberikan Rich’s akses untuk produk baru dan penetrasi ke dalam segmen toko serba ada, f'real menjual milkshake otentik yang berkualitas tinggi, smoothies dan minuman kopi beku. Twin Star Bakery adalah perusahaan patungan antara Rich’s dan The Stolbun Group. Penambahan produk biskuit dengan icing oleh Twin Star untuk portofolio produk Rich’s memungkinkan Rich’s untuk memasok penawaran produk yang sama sekali baru melalui divisi in-store bakery. Kue dan biskuit oleh Twin Star juga  menambahkan ragam produk kue dan makanan penutup Rich’s.
