Blend dates and water. After that, mix Rich's Double Cream and baking soda, stir well, and set aside.
Mix butter, sugar, and honey until pale. Then add eggs, and mix well again.
Add flour, baking powder, ginger powder, cinnamon powder, nutmeg powder, salt, and stir again.
Once blended, add the dates mixture, then stir until smooth.
Pour into a tin and bake at 180°C for 30 minutes.
To make the sauce, mix all the ingredients and cook until foamy. Then turn off the heat and leave it until cool.
Remove from the mold, then pour the sauce over it and serve.
