The Kids' Cooking Class Roadshow by Rich Products Indonesia and Homemade Indonesia has been completed. The event, which took place from August 29 to September 13, 2022, visited five schools in Medan which was attended by dozens of kindergarten and elementary school students aged 5-7 years.
The first event was held at YP Windfield Hasanuddin Medan, Monday (29/8/2022). This event was attended by dozens of elementary school students in grades 1 and 2. All of the child participants were very enthusiastic about cooking with Rich Products Indonesia's chefs and baristas. Chicken Mentai Rice Bowl with Niagara Farms application on mentai sauce became the menu in the first demo. This whipping cream dairy blend has a good performance for food application, so the mentai sauce becomes creamier with a thick texture and of course very tasty.
Medan Independent School (MIS) will be the venue for the next Kids' Cooking Class on Thursday (1/9/2022). Followed by kindergarten students (MIS), the children were very enthusiastic about making Klepon Dessert Box with Niagara Farms on sponge cake, and making whipping cream with Whip Topping Base. The children were very excited to be able to participate in making the Klepon Dessert Box, starting from arranging the sponge cake layers to finishing.
In the next event, the Kids' Cooking Class continued at Kinderland Preschool International School Medan, Friday (9/9/2022). Mid Autumn Cookies is the menu for this demo that was made with dozens of kindergarten students. Chef from Rich Products Indonesia makes cookies with the children with the application of the Value Pride Soft Blend (VPSB) for the cookie dough. Furthermore, the children immediately decorated it with various characters with available topping. Some draw rabbits, star, heart, smiley face, and many more. The children seemed to enjoy the decorating process.
In the fourth event, Saturday (10/9/2022), with a different format entitled Mommy and Me Cooking Class at Pelita Kasih Kindergarten, Medan. 12 pairs of mothers and children together made a Kids Bento Box menu with various characters. This time, participants had the opportunity to try Rich Products Indonesia's latest product, namely Double Cream for the mushroom sauce. Double Cream is a versatile cooking cream for food service with a plain/neutral taste that has high stability at hot temperatures and is acid resistant, making it very suitable for applications as cooking cream, cake/dessert, and beverage.
Finally, the last Kids' Cooking Class event was held at Superkids School Medan, Tuesday (14/9/2022) with the Tiramisu Dessert Box menu with the Niagara Farms application and Whip Topping Base. This event was very exciting because the children who were guided by Rich Product's Indonesia's chefs were allowed to arrange layer by layer, pour whipping cream, and sprinkle cocoa powder until they were finished.
Homemade Indonesia as Rich's Indonesia's partner in this demo was delighted to be able to hold a Kids’ Cooking Class. The founder of Homemade Indonesia, Nivia, said that the purpose of implementing the Kids' Cooking School in Medan is to provide cooking experience for children in the age range of 5-7 years. Nivia admitted, that the children seemed very happy to be able to make various menu creations using products from Rich Products Indonesia such as Chicken Mentai Rice Box, Banana Choco Smoothie, Klepon Dessert Box, Mid Autumn Cookies, Kids Bento Box, and Tiramisu Dessert Box.
